Dumfries and Galloway

Havazás/Hófúvás/Jegesedés (Sárga)
A deepening area of low pressure is expected to track east across the UK during Wednesday night and early Thursday. Across some northern areas, a spell of persistent and perhaps heavy snow is expected to develop. This could see 3-8 cm of snow accumulate in places with up to 20 cm over high ground. There remains uncertainty regarding the extent and location of any heavy snowfall.
East Midlands

Szél (Sárga)
Gusts of 50-60 mph are likely quite widely. There is some uncertainty over the peak gusts, but there is a small chance of winds reaching 70 mph in places - most likely across coastal north Wales and northwest England during the middle part of the night and then across parts of Lincolnshire and East Anglia early on Thursday morning.

Havazás/Hófúvás/Jegesedés (Sárga)
The cold northwesterly flow will continue to bring showers of rain, sleet and snow on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Some further accumulations are possible especially over ground above 200 m where a further 3 to 8 cm is possible locally. At lower levels snow accumulations will be generally small, locally 1 to 3 cm. Here the main risk is icy patches, especially where showers wash off any previous treatment.
